Aussie Farmers Direct has kindly sent us a $100 voucher to use at their new Aussie Farmers General Store, in which we were able to purchase any ingredients we wanted to create a tasty dish to share with you guys as well as our whole experience with the General Store and its offerings! And the special dish that we decided to create was a Grilled Fish & Fresh Asparagus Risotto.
What the heck is this? Well it’s bak kut teh! Bak kut teh comes from the Chinese language dialect Hokkien and translates directly to ‘pork rib tea’. And did I mention that this restaurant (Song Fa Bak Kut Teh) was awarded a Michelin Bib for it?!

A few months ago, we were invited to attend Taking A Bite‘s event at Riverland Bar to help raise funds for Cancer Council. What else could be better than contributing to a good cause by eating delicious food right?!
Riverland Bar is located along the Federation Wharf, which makes it the perfect spot with a beautiful water view for a relaxing catch up with friends baking under the sun during the Summer times or the courtyard could be transformed into an intimate cosy space with heaters during the Winter days!
